The Soothing Balm of Jesus

If any of you had an old school granny or mama, I'm sure you can recall the wonders of them mixing together or creating a foul smelling concoction or two that dissolved any skin condition or rash.Can you remember those disgusting "poisons" that seemed to cure any and all internal digestive problems that ran up on you?  You're probably still traumatized by that big 'ol spoon coming towards your mouth filled with something we could never pronounce or better spell today...Well consider that as great as your granny or your mama was at fixing whatever ailed your body, there is ONE who's touch goes deeper than the skin& far beyond the digestive & intestinal organs. Jesus is the balm in Gilead, & his "salve" heals the SOUL! Where money, men, women, doctors, food, materials, or fame fail to soothe, Jesus steps out of the vastness of eternity, beyond Gilead and finds you in Georgia, in New York, in Virginia, in California or wherever else you may be...
